SAFETY TERMS FOR THE PROPOSAL SUBMISSION
The main proposer is responsible for identifying and detailing any hazard related to the samples or equipment that will be brought to the facility for their experiment or laboratory processes to be performed at ALBA.
All samples, equipment, laboratory processes and related safety issues must be thoroughly described and declared using sample and equipment forms to be submitted in the electronic proposal that will be reviewed by beamline scientists, the Peer-Review Committee and the Safety Officer.
Remember to use one sample form per sample or sample family. We may request additional information; this shall be provided with the User Declaration before your experiment.
SAFETY PROCEEDINGS BEFORE COMING TO ALBA
- Schedule your experiment and participating users
- Sign your User Declaration
- Provide a Safety Declaration from your home institute.
- Get your safety training certificate on line
- Schedule you Personal Safety Course with your local contact
- The day of your arrival, remember to bring your Spanish DNI or passport and present it to the ALBA User Office.
